Technical Tours

Wednesday afternoon of the conference has been set aside for Technical Tours.

Technical Site Visits

The following technical site visits are available

  1. Regional SUDS facilities at the DEX development at Dunfermline, Fife
  2. Regional and local SUDS systems at the South-East Wedge development in Edinburgh 
  3. Marchbanks Water Treatment Works in Balerno near Edinburgh 
  4. Seafield Waste Water Treatment Works in Leith
  5. The Falkirk Wheel - a marvel of canal engineering NB: charges as per www.thefalkirkwheel.co.uk/ 

Booking sheets will be posted at the conference and you can book your tour place then. If you are keen to go on a particular tour, mail Chris Jefferies c.jefferies@abertay.ac.uk to indicate which tour you would like to go on.
